COMMUNITY
Communities bring people together around
something that matters as opposed to wasting their attention, and your money.
In the past success in communication meant forcing a message on as many people as possible. Today it is listening, providing tools, and above all speaking with the people who care about what you have to offer.
Our definition of community can be explained in three simple points.
A project's purpose is to *host*
a community
Bringing people together for a cause, around an event, brand, or research project.
1.
Its content is made to be *reused*
by a community
Making it easy for people to repost, rework or distribute your content, allowing them to become your advocates and ambassadors.
2.
The project is part of a *dialogue*
with a community
Listening, responding and appreciating what others have to say are all keys to success. Speaking with, not at, other people.
3.
